Spike? It's you. It's really you! My therapist thought I was holding on to false hope, but…I knew you'd come back. You're like…you're like Gandalf the White, resurrected from the pit of the Balrog, more beautiful than ever. Oh…he's alive Frodo. He's alive.

Spike's Bitches 31: We're Motivated Go-getters.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

DAVID - repeating offer of being gofer for you and JZ. I even have access to wheels - a truck, to be precise. I can bring whatever. Just call.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Blergh. Not tired.

And I was really getting past the whole nocturnal thing, I really thought so. Enough that I have early morning plans tomorrow.

Just took half an Ambien and will go try bed.

iPod is happily updating. One quarter done. Might be done by morning...

Okay something near enough to sleepy is here so I am letting down my keyboard and wandering toward z's.

While I do this, my iTunes is feeding my iPod like the hungry, hungry harddrive that it is. Fingers are crossed that this continues. It would be so nice to wake up to a functional iPod. It really would.

I suspect Strange Dreams tonight, but they are usually rather entertaining and I think I used up the currect stock of nightmares from it so safe even.

I'm going on holidays tomorrow, yay! So why am I not packing? It's a question for the ages.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

I am so relieved to hear that the Halloweenie seems to be staying put for the nonce. Hopefully, this will be the worst scare she ever gives the two of you, in or out of the womb.

Anne! It's good to see you! You are doing okay, I hope?

Thanks! Things are going more or less okay, but work has been very busy of late. I'm also having to deal with cleanup after a massive screwup on the part of a co-worker, which means that I'll be spending a good part of today at the office, to finish with the cleanup. Feh.

Now tagless for your comfort.

The Halloweenie would like to stay put until 13 October, so that she can be exactly 1.5 years younger than Miss Lillian. Drat it.

OK, how much would I LOVELOVELOVE for her to be born on the 13th (even if it's a tad early)?

Because books.

Very good news on the Zmayhem front.

I had steroid shots with both boys (Jake because they were planning induction at 38 weeks, Ben because I went into preterm labor at 33 weeks), and as far as I can tell (aside from it skyrocketing my sugar, which is only an issue for a diabetic), there were no side effects at all. Good for them taking no chances.

I am becoming even more sure that steroids = miracles. Of course, I know that they can come with their own side effects but still just so amazing.

2 Early 2B Awake. Blergh.

I'm getting the pig!

Calli, my sympathies. So much strength and peace to you and yours.

Yesterday was busybusybusy so I wasn't here for the unfolding drama. I'm just so very glad that wee teeny tiny Halloweenie has decided to stay put for a while. {{{JZ and Hec}}} Lots of Stay Put ~ma.

Calli, I was a little slow catching up. I'm so sorry about your mom. All peace and strength to you and yours.

We're off to the Renaissance Faire in a bit -- the one in Sterling, New York. I've heard commercials for it for years, but we've never been. Yay for jugglers, wenches, ale, and jousting.
