Yay for new good apartments!
Spike's Bitches 31: We're Motivated Go-getters.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
PUPPY! Deena, do you know what breed or breeds it is?
The is nothing sickening about Deena's happiness. Deena should always be happy.
I'm unreasonably happy because the sidewalk builders are only a few houses from my house. Sidewalks! My street is busy and I've wanted sidewalks for 15 years. They're moving along building forms and pouring concrete at about 2/10 of a mile a day, which strikes me as really fast. (Me? Checking on the sidewalk building every day? Of course not.)
In conclusion, sidewalks!
Yay for new apartments and new PUPPIES! (So. Cute.)
Big nasty hissing boo for car trouble.
That's all I've got. It's Friday, right? I hope so.
Oh! Has anyone ever had Gmail act up where they can't open a specific email? I read one this morning, read others, and then wanted to go back to the first to reply, and now it won't open. I click and click and nothing. Anyone? I'm frustrated. Especially since it's an email from my new editor, welcoming me, and I'd love to, you know, not look like a standoffish bitch.
Yes, Amy, and I don't think I've ever gotten into them. You might want to email her, and ask her to re-send. I don't know what causes it. It seems to me it's just g-mail being a bitch.
Sidewalk! Sidewalks are awesome. Being without sidewalks really makes you appreciate them.
Puppy!
Car~ma, sj.
I haven't had that particular problem, AmyLiz, (that I remember, anyway), but lately gmail has been crashing Safari entirely. Maybe try another browser?

Ginger, are you watching the sidewalk builders so carefully so that you can go out and write something in the wet concrete? Hmmm? "Buffy-n-Angel 4-evah!"
I started a Target list.
It's getting very long.
And I didn't think I needed anything.
How does this happen?
But, man. Since our driving commuting is so little now, it seems almost a shame to have a new car.
Oh I hear you. If the car hadn't have been stolen, I'd still be toughing it out (though I might have bit the bullet this year and spent the 500-1000 and get the AC repaired - I should add that it was the outdated kind of AC that costs more to repair these days, YACMV).
MMm, Target.
ION, I am having a mani-pedi today, the first one in a year or two, and I am so much looking forward to it! I'll have pretty paws for my vacation.
