Whoa! I... I think I'm having a thought. Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's a thought. Now I'm having a plan. Now I'm having a wiggins.

I started a Target list.

It's getting very long.

And I didn't think I needed anything.

How does this happen?

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

But, man. Since our driving commuting is so little now, it seems almost a shame to have a new car.

Oh I hear you. If the car hadn't have been stolen, I'd still be toughing it out (though I might have bit the bullet this year and spent the 500-1000 and get the AC repaired - I should add that it was the outdated kind of AC that costs more to repair these days, YACMV).

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

MMm, Target.

ION, I am having a mani-pedi today, the first one in a year or two, and I am so much looking forward to it! I'll have pretty paws for my vacation.

Art Crawl!!!

Timelies everyone!

I only just woke up!! It's my second to last Friday off - and last night was the first non-killer humidity night we've had in AGES. It was lovely sleeping weather. The only dream I remember is a partial one that involved moving a piano.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Eugene is south of Portland, pretty much directly off I-5.

I'm semi-fond of it, in that weird BFE college town kind of way.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Ginger, are you watching the sidewalk builders so carefully so that you can go out and write something in the wet concrete?

I am looking for an opportunity to make an impression.

PS, Eugene is where I had my Freak Exfoliation Incident on my way to the LA F2F, for the record.

Who knew a washcloth could remove that much skin?

I need some advice. I need to sell the couch. Quickly. I figure Craigslist is the best way to go. I don't know how much to ask, though. I was thinking $200. It's six years old, but in great shape. Was just professionally cleaned and scotch-guarded.

How does that sound?

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

If I had to haul a couch away, I don't know that I would pay $200... but give that a try, see if anyone bites. If not, you can drop the price? THe thing about pricing stuff like a couch is that people more likely than not will have logistical issues as well.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I went to sleep drug-free by 1 am (in bed around 12:30, so only a half hour to fall asleep!) and woke up at 8!!!!! Hello diurnality, I have missed you so.

I do like my new apartment, though, and so does Toto, it seems.
Oh good. I am so glad for both of you.

sj, I hope the car issues work out. So stressful.

I'm semi-fond of it, in that weird BFE college town kind of way.
I am intrigued now. I think I promised to go visit my uncle (that you met!) in Medford so I can check it out as I drive down.

How is it that I can be in another state to the north in twenty or thiry minutes from home, and he can be in another state to the north in the same amount of time, and yet I can drive down there for a couple of days. This living in a short state is weird.
