[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

Hee!

I am so happy this morning. It's kinda sickening. I need to get busy doing some actual work instead of admiring the dog.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

In other words, despite the fact that we only need it a few months out of the year in this part of the country, if you plan on doing any driving during those months beyond day-to-day local driving, AC is not a luxury, IMO.

Well, my hope is that we can tough it out through the rest of this summer without (if need be) and then think about getting a new car in the spring, thus freeing us from dreaded car payments for another few months. One does get used to life without them.

Or, it might get repaired today and something else will go wrong next week. At this point (post 100K miles on a FORD, for crying out loud) who knows?

But, man. Since our driving commuting is so little now, it seems almost a shame to have a new car.

PUPPY! WANT!

Happy Belated Birthday, Deena!

My DH has come to terms with the fact that the next place we move must allow dogs.

I need to get busy doing some actual work instead of admiring the dog.

Not at all, you've got a new kid in the house, you need quality time.

Mostly lurking...

I like happy!

I don't like car troubles.

I do like my new apartment, though, and so does Toto, it seems. Now to get unpacking.

Also, PUPPY!

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

The is nothing sickening about Deena's happiness. Deena should always be happy.

I'm unreasonably happy because the sidewalk builders are only a few houses from my house. Sidewalks! My street is busy and I've wanted sidewalks for 15 years. They're moving along building forms and pouring concrete at about 2/10 of a mile a day, which strikes me as really fast. (Me? Checking on the sidewalk building every day? Of course not.)

In conclusion, sidewalks!
