Mostly lurking...

My goodness, am I ever tired!

Couch is on the porch and won't be gracing the presence of the new apartment, thanks to the very small doors and windows. Oh, well. Who needs a couch anyway?

I think I'm gonna climb into bed and have a nice good sleep. See you all in the morning.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

vw, welcome to your new digs! Sans couch and all.

If it makes you feel better, before I got to this line, I was thinking, "Why isn't Zenkitty calling herself a pantheist?"

It does make me feel better, thanks!

I am buying too much vintage stuff off eBay. Send help. Or more money.

I'm one of those who believes in something, but has big issues with organized religion as a whole. I just say I have faith. For what that is worth. It works for me and that is all that matters.

The girls lost today which means they have to keep winning to stay in the tournament. One more loss and we are done. That means 4 games tomorrow to make it to play on Saturday....softball~ma is appreciated.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

I'm back!

Over the course of the last few days, we have gone out and looked at puppies everywhere, the shelters, the pet stores, private parties, and didn't find any we loved--well, one, but he was too expensive.

Today, after Nick took me out to lunch for my birthday and we had one last fruitless search for the right dog, and then got groceries and came home, none of us were hungry for dinner yet--so Greg took me back to the first place and got me my dog for my birthday. His name is Pookah.

There are recent pictures of all the kids and the puppy.

I have had a LOVELY birthday.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Happy Birthday, Deena, most wonderful woman!

Now with brand-new PUPPY of Adorableness!

Hey GC, know when you are going to OR yet?
Alas, I am going from Fri 8/11 - Mon 8/14.
All the way to Portland or are you staying south of me, Gloom GlamCookie? (I am remembering Salem but I could be wrong.)

The question, I guess, is: At which F2F did you most want to fuck me?
I was kinda drunk. And I apologized.

Cass darlin, we may be heading southward tomorrow. While it is POSSIBLE we may win all 4 games, the likelihood is small. We are going to check out of the hotel in the am, and check back in if they do make it or head down the hill if they don't.

Maybe you can offer some Portland traffic advice - I don't wanna get stuck again. What hours should we just plain avoid trying to get through on 5?

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Oooooh, Happy puppy-getting day, Deena!

Vehicle repair funding~ma, sj.

Yay, being in new apartment, vw.

I skipped. I skipped like a skippity skipping McSkippy thing.

Pookah is so cute! Happy Birthday again, Deena! I'm glad you had a good day.

I would avoid it from about 4 to 6:30 to be safe. Though I've only hit traffic in a much narrower band.

Might want to check with Pete or Jilli (hi Pete and Jilli!) to see if there are any areas to worry about north of Portland.

Will you guys maybe have time for a cup of coffee about ten miles south of Portland? I won't even bring a clicky stick...
