This is what I was trying to point out to co-worker. If kids who have "given up" on school aren't forced to go, where are they going to be? I said it would raise the rate of juvenile crime. She said they should take money away from the "war on drugs, that isn't working" and put it toward punishments for early offenders, like "sitting with the elderly" or "writing book reports". Which... sounds like a) a social program, which I thought conservatives were against, and b) more schoolwork that they didn't want to do in the first place!
The eyerolling continues.

Second day cramps, same as the first. So not fair.
The cranky is the same too. Maybe a little worse. Do you ever get so cranky that simple noises get on your nerves? My co-workers insist on talking, tapping, humming, and of all things - BREATHING. All of it is incredibly annoying today.

My philosophy of education is simply this: It's the magic bullet. Crime, poverty, etc. nearly all of societies ills can be cured by it. We need more of it. We should pay for it. Schools should be cathedrals and teachers treated like rock stars.

Wait. I missed the Olivia photos. I'm also not clear on flickr, in general. I somehow managed to add myself, so that I can see all of Stephanie's photos, a long time ago, but have never again found where to do that (for Cashmere's photos, Plei's photos, etc.).
