I've decided I'm suffering from caffeine withdrawal because while on my trip I sucked down the caffeine nonstop in order to stay awake on the road (bit of a self-reinforcing cycle, since it kept me from getting to sleep early, thus guaranteeing that I would be sleepy again the next day). I'm all blargy and sore and headachey. Must stop!
'Dirty Girls'
Spike's Bitches 31: We're Motivated Go-getters.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
And I was just re-reading my Farscape posts today and remembering my love for the show! It is clearly a Farscape kind of day!
I'm in the home stretch. Finished disc 4 of Season 4 last night, the last two discs are on their way from Quickflix. I hope to watch The Peacekeeper Wars before I leave for the US.
Oh, right! I forget, are you going to be in the Bay Area at all?

Yep, I'll be there from the 21st to the 23rd. Look busy.
Can someone tell me why, after three days of lazing around doing very little, I still feel sluggish and stiff?
Because your body and mind are recovering from crazy stress from the last few months, a cross-country move (always traumatic on some level) and other stuff. It's OK.
Taper off the caffeine SLOWLY! Go have a cup now. I'll wait right here.
And, in a slightly unrelated topic Hugh Laurie needs to stop being so damn charming. I don't need another Celebrity Boyfriend, but it's probably too late as I hate that Lipton wanker pretty much, and yet I watched Actor's Studio because he was on it. And he sang this gross little song that was really funny, but still gross enough that there is some House in him. My mom's amused.
Heh. We saw this on tv last night. DH loves him almost as much as I do.
My philosophy of education is simply this: It's the magic bullet. Crime, poverty, etc. nearly all of societies ills can be cured by it. We need more of it. We should pay for it. Schools should be cathedrals and teachers treated like rock stars.
All that on one cup of crappy, instant coffee.
Hot, muggy and 96 degrees today. The pool is inflated in the back yard and I need to fill it up so we can lounge today.
Emily, mostly what Nora said.
And although you don't have jetlag, there is the time difference. Plus, there's probably different pollens in the air. Also, lazing around sometimes makes me feel more sluggish. Getting up, showering, eating (are you eating food with food in it, now that ms. bug is on the other side of the country?), getting dressed, and getting yourself outside for an hour or so (maybe taking a walk) isn't the worst idea.

Not. Enough. Wrod. This is the arguement I was having with neo-con coworker yesterday. She thinks the government shouldn't pay for school at all. @@
Emily, what everyone else said. I'd never quit caffeine cold turkey--I had to once and the headaches sucked.
Olivia from yesterday. I was trying to get a picture of Miss Smiley's new teeth coming in.

You need to tell me where you work so I can drive across town to cluestick this woman.
