I can drink the water again. Yay! I piled up what seems to be an amazing amount of plastic water bottles.
I would also like to live in Libkitty's narrow temperature range.
Spike ,'Selfless'
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

LA.
2 or 3 days? Cool, I was braced for a lot longer.
(I cannot believe how much research I am doing for a piece of off-the-cuff BtVS/Supernatural fanfic. I now know more than I remotely ever needed to know about American College Football and the personalities, hopes & dreams of various UCLA cheerleaders.)
I think I may be on crack.
Emily says 3 days to LA.
Thank you! We'll call it 3, then. Cool.

I would like to live in Zenkitty and Ginger's temperate zone. I have in my head that Bermuda may be the place.
FWIW, Fay, I drove across country in about four days. Boston to California.

Emmett's team won their first tournament today. It was probably his worst hitting all summer - he didn't hit anything hard in four games. And his pitching was okay, but a little shaky at times. But he played well in the field and scored several times so he wasn't a liability either. He's very happy to have a trophy though.
Next weekend is our last tournament. Then we're done with baseball until February or so.

Me too. Although perhaps a little colder a couple days out of the year, because I do love a couple days of snow, just not many days and not on the days I have plans.

Raq & Suzi - A's look like they're keeping Zito after all. Mets won't part with Milledge.

Convince Teacup Guy for me?
Ok, question for the pet-owning Bitches hiveming: Ever seen a patch of fur just evaporate from around the injection site after the yearly shots? Harvey went in on Wednesday morning for rabies and a combo - probably a 3-way. Yesterday when I got home from work, he had a spot on his back in between his shoulder blades where the fur was gone - about 3cm by 1.5 cm. There is a small scab which might represent where the needle went in, and a minor amount of irritation. It sure did not look as red as my skin would look if I scratched hard enough to pull hair out. It's in a spot that would be pretty obvious, and both Daniel and I are sure he did not have the bald spot before we left for work on Saturday morning.
I'm guessing that he had some mild reaction or irritation at the site, not too worried about it, and I do plan to call the vet's office tomorrow morning. The little I can find about common, minor side effects of feline vaccines does not mention this, but I am not confident that I am finding out complete information.
And of course, the black, back of my head worry is that if he has a mild reaction to this year's shots, can I expect him to have a bad reaction to next year's?
