YAY
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
We have teh Emily.
YAY
Yay Emily!
It was UPS with my new Vornado fan, which is good, but for a moment I thought "EMILY!", and that would have been better. And now you have *both*! Do you love the fan? I am obviously Vornado's bitch.
All this Labyrinth talk has made me need to see it again.
Yet again, I am Zenkitty. Love the Bowie, love the Henson.
YAY Emily!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I saw the Vornado fans at Linens N' Things, yesterday. I almost picked one up, but couldn't remember if that's the fan about which everyone was raving. I have a similar fan that's quite a few years old from t memfault so I was pretty sure I'd like it. I should have just bought it.
pizza and wine
The poor UPS man came to the door in the absolute middle of a huge thunder storm we had, earlier this evening. He was (bless) bringing us a dual-tuner TiVo, right when we were at the height of the storm. When I heard the doorbell, I couldn't figure out who I knew who would be fool enough to be out in that weather, just to pop into my house, unexpectedly.
Yay Emily!
Ginger, if you have a dihwasher it may heat the water hot enoug to sterilize. I hope the issue is resolved quickly - not having clean water seriously sucks.
Oh, nice UPS guy!
I have made it to the Grand Vista hotel in Simi Valley. The vista isn't all that grand, at least from our room.

I'm so terribly sorry. I just left Simi Valley not two hours ago, and I'd never wish it on anyone. t /tremendous issues
I'm sorry that my schedule doesn't line up with yours too.
Welcome to the Bay Area, Emily!
Yay for Emily arriving safely in SF!
{{{Raq}}} Tons of biopsy ~ma.
{{{JZ}}} Finish the bag of cheese bakes, you deserve them. It sounds like it was a stressful day.
Dave and I just got home from Newport. We stopped at my mother's beach house on the way home too. It was a really wonderful day. We ate at a restaurant called the Black Pearl, which sadly does not include a Captain Sparrow, but happily does include a pretty outside seating area on the waterfront. I also bought pirate t-shirts for both of the nephews. We found a tea shop that wasn't there last year and stopped for a cup of tea and a scone after walking around all day long. It was very nice, and of course it got me thinking about how I would do my own fantasy tea shop if I ever am able to open one. I did get a little sunburn on my shoulders despite a liberal application of sunblock, but it isn't that bad considering how fair skinned I am.
