Can't any one of your damn little Scooby club at least try to remember that I hate you all?

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Oh GC, those numbers make me want to cry. I had a dream, you see, a dream that one day, my little dorky house would have a/c. But now, the pie is gone.

But, what are you going to do? You can't live in the SF Valley without air.

Fair enough. I'm closer to the beach than you are, and I'd sure like to have a/c right now.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

And once the DH can find one that uses vinegar for coolant SHE SHALL!

(ftr -- my mom is a vinegar clearer too. it took her until 1990 to use paper towels. she's a maniac)

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Burrell, do you have hung windows? You may be able to get by with a couple window units, if you don't have them already.

Our wings are not tired

Our new landlord just installed central air. I can't wait to move in. Well, I don't want to do the actual moving, but I can't wait to be there. No more window units for me.

Punishingly Intricate

I think to sell my house here I'd have to install central air. I don't really like it and have no plans to sell my house anytime soon. But it seems like all the places that are selling in the neighborhood have it.

The status is NOT quo.

I can't wait to move in. Well, I don't want to do the actual moving, but I can't wait to be there.

This!

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

My doorbell just rang. It was UPS with my new Vornado fan, which is good, but for a moment I thought "EMILY!", and that would have been better.

It's still too early for her to get here though.

Good biopsy results-ma to you, Raq.

Viking long ship tattoo sounds really cool, Calli.

I had my fourthe chemo today (went well). Only two more, people, and then my all my treatments are finito.

And in food news, I had crab quiche for, um, early dinner. It was delicious. From the Cheese Chalet, which also makes awesome chicken salad. And, well, they have lots of cheese, too. It's a lovely place.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I ordered a Vornado fan yesterday or the day before.
