Spike's Bitches 31: We're Motivated Go-getters.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
The Liberty Bell March!
By John Philip Sousa!
Depends-- what are you having?
We always take people to the Women's Faculty Club. It's not very exciting eats-wise, but it is a Julia Morgan building.
Welcome back Sparky1!

the internet, email, cell phones, etc has spoiled me. I expected instant 'good for you' for finding the a saw to borrow. but , so far nothing. This work stuff DH does gets in the way.
How were the interviews, etc., Sparky? And welcome home.
I feel very close to you right now, Frankenbuddha, my brother in exclamatory March King identification.
I don't really know what a sabre saw is, so I'm picturing beth walking around with a sword.
Much coping and healing ~ma to you and your family, Teppy.
Apartment ~ma to P-C. Hopefully, if you don't get it then that's a sign it wasn't the best apartment for you. That's how I like to interpret things, anyway, optimist that I am.
Welcome back, Sparky!
My now more accurate mental image is still pretty amusing.
Bwah! Did they do the splat sound at the end?
They didn't, but we did. And later we fought about which Sousa march it was, so good to know.
Do you Wicked folks know there's a karaoke album?
I like the picture in my head of beth with a sword, so I am not clicking her link.
The interview went well, I think -- not a sure thing by any stretch (such as when I interviewed here and they asked, "How can we get you to come?" at lunch -- but I'm hopeful. I had a stomach 'flu that left me worthless in the few days before the interview so I was not as ready as I would have liked to have been with examples of the Way The World Should Be. Still, I didn't get the feeling that I was being ruled out every time I opened my mouth.
