you never can tell P-C about apartments. one of my neighbors is a landlord - and just picky about his tenets. He saw about 15 people for his last apt - Went with the 13th person - because this person fit the criteria- looking for room for one. ( this was an older person looking for a place to small for her kids to try and move in ) So you can't always tell. I am guessing your very polite demeanor gives you points in rental arena.

and I live in a very interesting neihgborhood. I walked a mile with a sabre saw no one even asked a question . ( I borrowed it from a friend for our bookshelves)

I am now back from conventions, vacations and interviews. My desk is piled high with mail, my email inbox has 300 unread messages still (I got back to work yesterday), and we've had people in to interview for open positions here yesterday and today. Um, yay for free lunch?

the internet, email,cell phones, etc has spoiled me. I expected instant 'good for you' for finding the a saw to borrow. but , so far nothing. This work stuff DH does gets in the way.
