Job Guy has not mailed me the files that I need to do the thing. I spent a half an hour last night developing the spreadsheet that I'll need but I'm basically waiting on him.
How long do I wait before I send them a reminder email requesting the information? Until noon? End of the day? Or tomorrow morning?

That makes sense. This is sort of a test to see if he likes my work product. If I can do it, send it to him, then he'll want to me and discuss compensation.
It would be really nice if it could all happen this week since DH is on vacation and that means I have the flexibility to meet any time. Next week would be a PITA to try to schedule a meeting.

Sail, it's good to hear that one isn't doomed to some of the symptoms I've heard about. And I'm all about the herbal solutions. When the time comes, I may have questions about your 'tools.'
Laura, I'm so with you on wanting to avoid the lack of interest issue. It's an interesting question though...I've had that concern in other relationships, in my 20s and 30s...so I'm hoping some creative thinking will help at least a little bit...but I'm worried.
