Aimee - what is up with the hot down here? We melted yesterday. Completely and utterly melted.
Today - it was a "it's not the heat, it is the humidity" day.
Wonder what tomorrow will bring.
'Time Bomb'
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

No idea. I'm from Michigan and egads, I don't ever remember it being that bad.
Wonder what tomorrow will bring.I'm guessing locusts since we already did plague in May.
Today was altogether too hot. I saw 111 degrees on at least one sign today.
Woke up, went to the bathroom, made a pot of coffee, and walked the dog. Got back, went to pour the cup of coffee and realized I made a whole pot. Don't need a whole pot anymore. Silly Val.
This is gonna take some getting used to.
Talked to Emily at around 10 last night before I crashed. She was 10 minutes from Buffalo...making good time. She expected to reach her hotel around 1am. She's gonna to call before she heads out on the road today. Fortunately, she only has about a four-hour drive today, then she'll hang with some family and friends, which will be good and relaxing for her, I hope.
She called many times yesterday to tell me how cute her cat is and all the things that Bastet is exploring in the car. Sounds like Bastet is having a blast, which is really good. We were worried about that.
Jean Simmons is my favorite, Hec! That picture is printed out--I even think my hair has enough body to pull that out. If not, I'll go with a modified, spikey pixie.
wv, send extra coffee my way this morning, please. I need it.
I got shirty with Christopher this morning. The kids both got up at the same time and I was all gronk--no caffeine at all. So I got them settled down and tried to make a big breakfast (biscuits, gravy, eggs, bacon) while Owen proceeded to remove every item out of the refrigerator door and Olivia played in the bouncy seat.
I got C up when I was finished to eat. He asked me what time we got up and said 8 (since I hadn't bothered to look at the clock). He corrected me with, "That can't be. We were both still in bed at 8." I deferred.
But then he asked me if I had changed Olivia. I said, "When I got her up." Then he asked what time was that. Um, we'd already established that I didn't know what time we got up! What does it matter? She'd been changed fairly recently.
Coffee for Cashmere coming up! And smack for C.
I don't know why I get so sensitive when he corrects me like that on little things. But it seems I get fairly annoyed by it.
Cool~ma to all the melting buffistas.
How much do I suck? DH just brought me an ice cold diet coke.
