[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Juliana's b-day sounds fabulous! Love the tongues pic. Ha! Is Curtis the boy that kept giving us drinks when I was up there partying with you?

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Oh, Pete! Sooooo gorgeous!

...and the designs are cute too.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Is Curtis the boy that kept giving us drinks when I was up there partying with you?

Nope - that was Robbie. Different bar. I don't think you met Curtis. I swear I'm going to kill that boy, though. He's the only one of us who didn't have to work today, and he was the one who kept calling for more shots. Not that Ginny needed much encouragement. Still.

Betsy, I hope your cat shows up soon. Kitty! Go home!

Love the designs, Pete.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Katerina, for how long will you be in Denver?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Who here has seen Bowie perform, live—I mean, besides me?

t Raises hand.

I'm not entering the scuffle for owning him. I just lije to gaze upon him from afar and listen to him talk and sing and so forth. Up close I might spontaneously sdissassemble into component atoms.

I hope your cat turns up, Betsy. I had a scare with one of mine this morning - hadn't seen her in 24 hours - but she was just well hidden in the yard.

Me! It was maybe 10 years ago, he was on tour with Nine Inch Nails. It was awesome.

Is LJ all poof for anybody else?

It was poof for me too, just for the record.

That's the tour I saw, Vortex. Reznor and Bowie were way slashy.

Herding cats for fun

Who here has seen Bowie perform, live—I mean, besides me?

In the eighties. It was a big coliseum show and it was really hard to see the stage from the cheap seats. Plus scorching daylight throughout. Wasn't the best of circumstances for enjoyage, but still. Seemed like the mood would have been better in the dark.

SO cool to have been recognized out in the wild as a Buffista.

Debet, just Wednesday evening till Friday morning. Short but super-sweet and I get to see Bailey.

Wah. I'm getting no ride to the airport Friday love. Wonder if it's worth lugging the baggage on the bus to BART to shuttle to plane connection, or if I should give it up and pay for a shuttle? I miss living in San Francisco, where the Super Shuttle runs everywhere and often.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

Hey! I'm here! I'm caught up! (At least for a while!) I missed talking to you guys!

Um, hugs & ~ma all around.

And uhhh, 80's movies good, missing kitties bad. (Kitty Go Home-ma). Also pretty darn gorgeous people posting here and related to those posting here!

I went to a Masquerade Ball in Hollywood this past weekend, and I just kept thinking, "Jilli should be here. Jilli should really be here." It's called (appropriately enough fitting in to recent topics) Labyrinth of Jareth Masquerade Ball Lots of Faeries, some pirates, at least two Jareths, one girl in Jennifer Connolly's costume from the ball scene in the movie, one V for Vendetta Guy, one Man in Black, and plenty of people (incl. me & my friends) in formal wear with added masks (& glitter! The bathroom floor of our motel room was covered in it). Live bands interspersed with DJ'd music (talk about taking you back to the 80's! About every other song was Bowie, interspersed with Depeche Mode, New Order, etc.) Very cool. It was my first time, or I would have been pimping it to Jilli (and probably all the LA-istas) for months in advance. (Thought I saw ND [from behind, the hair was right and the utilikilt was right], but when I checked with the guys on the sound board they said it wasn't him. He's working so constantly anymore, I just assumed ).

Oh, and speaking of/to Jilli, if you can't find your Lost Boys Poster, I could probably spare mine. Let me know.
