Mal: Okay. She won't be winning any beauty contests anytime soon. But she is solid. Ship like this, be with ya 'til the day you die. Zoe: 'Cause it's a deathtrap.

Spike's Bitches 31: We're Motivated Go-getters.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

That man that hath a tongue, I say, is no man,
If with his tongue he cannot win a woman.

Damn skippy.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

this is the enchilada sauce I make: [link].
vw, I feel I must also pimp TJ's bottled enchilada sauce. It is just the best I have ever tried. So good.

Now I need to go get some taquitos to smother soon.

Excellent timing, Empress. Impressive.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

this is the enchilada sauce I make:

Heh. I read this as "echidna sauce."

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

we're moving over the first couple of weeks of August.

At least that will give you a little time to get ready. I hope the move isn't too stressful, and that any small stress is more than made up for by the fantastic house. And by the being together thing.

neighbor's pool

I'm so jealous. This always gets me. When I lived in California, I would walk to work past some folks with a fantastic pool. There was never anyone using it and I always wanted to divert from work and just help myself to the pool. I literally had to force myself to keep walking the work direction. My family even had a small pool in the backyard - the above ground kind. However, the previous owners had completely ruined it by filling it with waterlilies and goldfish. Yeah, sure, it was picturesque. But who cares about that when it's hot outside!

vw, I'm glad you got through to someone and hope the yeast infection resolves itself.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

We have neighbors two doors down that seem to never use their pool. I want to ask if we can use it, but this is the neighbor I attacked a few years ago, so I don't know if she'd go for it.

move out and draw fire

The one thing I miss from my childhood is our pool. The apartment we lived in in KL had a wonderful one, that pretty much no one used, but it wasn't as relaxing to hang out in with 50 apartment windows staring down on you.

I'd take either one right now, though.

More to the point:

LEGENDARY BIRTHDAY, JULIANA!!!
