Shoes are packed. I didn't dare count how many pairs I had. That would be too depressing (they filled a medium-sized box). I did, though, count how many I felt I would *need* in the next two weeks: seven pairs, plus my slippers.

Good grief! Who am I? Imelda Marcos?

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I threw away a lot of shoes when I last moved... not as many as I should have though.

Our wings are not tired

Okay, this hectic week can slow down just a bit. I just now got back from baking in the sun and heat up at Universal Studios so that I could check in on a show that I did some work on. There's a VP who's being a pain about it but hey, in a couple of days it's not my problem. I've got a little bit of time this afternoon, and then it's back downtown for a rehearsal. This is supposed to be a weekend. Also, I guess I need to start packing.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Yay for the great new house, Noise Design and Kristin!

Not so yay for all the packing that everyone has to be doing.

Yeah. Packing all my stuff is going to suck massive amounts of ass.

Ah, the price we pay for nookie on tap.

Lovely house, too. I hope you both are very happy there.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

I'm going to have to watch that show aren't i?.

Yes.

I adore the house, ND and Kristin. The colors are so fresh: cool and cozy at the same time. The built in shelving in the office is loverly. Of course, I'm a sucker for built in stuff anyway, but this seems especially nice. I hope you will both be very happy there. This may have been mentioned already, but how soon do you actually move?

You know, as I think about it, it seems like a lot of Buffistas are moving lately. I wonder if this is a sign...

The countdown to Emily leaving has begun.

Each night this week, we will eat one of her favorite meals. Tonight we're having taquitos with enchilada sauce, melted cheese, and sour cream with a side of Mexican rice.

Mmmmmm...

In sort of related to moving news - I just found the cortisone tablets I use for my mouth ulcers that I lost 'til now in the move, so hopefully, the stupid bastard ulcers will be gone in a few days. Huzzah!

How sad is it that I did a little dance of joy when I found medication? On a scale of one to sad?
