Zoe: Nobody's saying that, sir. Wash: Yeah, we're pretty much just giving each other significant glances and laughing incessantly.

Spike's Bitches 31: We're Motivated Go-getters.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

You don't have to call today or even tomorrow.

I have to call by tomorrow, because I want to call before I see her at the wake on Tuesday.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

{{sj}} I'm so terribly sorry.

ION, I finally got the last planter on my balcony filled with flowers. Just in time for the sun to take ownership, and with temps expected in the high 90s, I'll have to finish tidying it up tonight. I'm looking forward to being able to sit in my garden and enjoy the lovely colors.

The status is NOT quo.

{{{{{sj}}}} I'm so sorry for your loss.

Smiling at your tag Kristin. Oddly, or maybe not so much, I think of you when I read that thread title. And you've never annoyed me. Although I would find it very cute to see you try.

Laura, I tagged it as soon as I heard it, but I stopped using it once the thread adopted it. Recently it just seemed relevant, so I tagged it again. You're sweet saying I've never annoyed you. Maybe I'm not trying hard enough? Hee.

and in other news - I just got my standing back from the library job. I ranked 6. They have to interview the top 5 - but they have 3 positions - so I have no idea what this means.

I'm sorry for your loss, sj.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Little bit drunk. This is a problem, because I'm supposed to be on the other side of town for a bar crawl in a couple of hours. And I cannot bail, because I've missed the last few things this person invited me to. Eh, no biggie. I'll just take off early if I feel I really need to.

But the cat care is done for the day, at least. Easy as it is, there's no way I'd be going over to give the cat shots while liquored up. (See? Not totally irresponsible. Though the dog is giving me the stink-eye, not having been out since 7 am. But it's still 90+ outside, and no way her part-huskie ass is going out until it cools a bit.)

"So, um, what happened here, ma'am?"

"Brenda got drunk and shot the cat. ::small shrug:: It happens..."
