Ah, yes, of course. The gypsies, they gave you your soul. The gypsies are filthy people. Ptui! We shall speak of them no more.

OMG, it just keeps getting better. DH says he was suggesting CJ stay home cause CJ doesn't like the tournaments.

CJ and I went to Blockbuster cause my mom has offered to lend him her portable DVD player. I said something general to him about the tournament season being almost over. He said he would miss softball. I asked him if he liked going to the tournaments. He said yes.

Oy.

As an only child I do miss having nieces/nephews. I "adopt" them were I can and I have one "true" niece, though it is been a long time since I've seen her. She and K-Bug are only a year apart, but they are a world apart in their likes and such.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Sorry your husband is being a pill, Suzi. Making up stuff to leave CJ at home is pretty wrong.

I'm about to try grilling broccoli. Am oddly excited about it.

I love my son, I really do. And I have not spent all that much time with him recently. So on one level, I'd love to have a mommy/son weekend - but this is not THAT weekend (I'm not that girl).

I AM working hard on stuff for him for next weekend. I am hoping to work out a surprise trip to Disneyland as part of the next tournament weekend. He turns 10. My son. Double digits. YIKES!!!!

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I agree with everyone else Suzi. You need a weekend to do what you want (well, that, plus some work) (and maybe what Juliana and I want), and not what other people want.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I'd dance, but I've been too lazy to put my bra cups back up, as I know the boobies are doomed to be attacked by rabid toddler mouth with little to no warning at any given moment.
