You could really hurt someone with one of those.
Oh, I did. She still has the dent in the top of her head from my assault. It's funny as hell and family legend now, but I got in all kinds of trouble at the time.
'War Stories'
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

::Makes note never to get on Maria's bad side::
You could never get on my bad side, sj.
Lest all of you think the violence was one-sided, L did give as good as she got. Her teeth and nails were deadly.
I'm glad we outgrew that phase rather quickly.
Maria, how is the restaurant doing? I seem to remember you were worried about flooding last time I saw you post something.
Thanks for asking, sj. Luckily, the projected 26 feet didn't come to pass. At 19 1/2 feet, we still had a flooded basement, but it didn't come anywhere near the main level. After the water receded, the fire department was kind enough to drop by and hose the flooded areas out. It was the quickest clean-up ever. The only thing left to do was wait for it to dry.
Things were much worse for folks to the north.
I'm glad it wasn't as bad as it could have been. I am going to try to get some of that ever so elusive sleep. Night, Bitches!
Night, sj!
::listens to the crickets chirping::
Thanks for the suggestions, Sail. I think you're right about the bangs. I love the look of straight bangs with short hair, but I don't think I can probably get my hair to do that. Sigh.
I have showered in these showers. Ah, the joys of no running water. But I was lucky; at least I had electricity!
You know what? I love the fact that we're probably thinking of the exact same laundromat. And now I'm hungry for some of Sam's Sourdough sourdough pancakes. Yummmmmm.
People in Anchorage and Juneau mostly have water. It's those granola hicks in Fairbanks! And, um, the bush. But half might be a (slight) exaggeration.
Okay, possibly. But not by much. Given that one of the houses on my mother's property is lacking running water, and we're less that 5 minutes away from UAF....
GC is SMOKIN' HOTTT. Rrrowr.
lib, I like D.
My brain: full of sharp turns, steep hills, falling rock, oil slicks, secret caves washed out bridges, burnt bridges, no traffic signals, and, often, the Brady Bunch/8 is Enough/Partidge Family Travelin' Porn Revue.
BWAH!
t is ded from the hawt that is GC
Wow!
Maria, I'm so glad to hear the restaurant is okay.
Friends have been retrieved, delivered, and settled at my place. I have staggered over to ND's place, and he has staggered back from a double-shift of work. We are both sitting here staring into space and making random mumbling noises. Tired now.
t cuddles with anyone in thread still, just 'cause.
