Speaking of hair product, I am finally out of my hair wax. Woe. Can anyone recommend a good hair wax, pref. made by a humane company? I have a light pomade, but it does not give the sculptural choices I prefer.
juliana, I love the Aveda stuff. But, I don't have any right now, 'cause I don't use it, and I don't remember what it's called. And, their website won't load for me. But, as soon as I can get on, I'll let you know what it is.

Well, it's pretty standard--but the smell is strongest when you're emulsifying it on your hands. I hardly smell it at all in my hair.
If you went shorter, like to the corner of the mouth, or just below and angled it up then it should look good. (Consider Fay's bob in the F2F pictures).
Fay went with an off-center part which is excellent for her face and very flirty. With straighter, finer hair, though, that's going to be in your eyes all day. With the bangs, I'd either go for a very straight, clean line just above the eyebrows (not as short as Bettie Page bangs), or longer bangs over the eyebrows but very textured and chipped out.
