Now tagless for your comfort.

Well, it's pretty standard--but the smell is strongest when you're emulsifying it on your hands. I hardly smell it at all in my hair.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

If you went shorter, like to the corner of the mouth, or just below and angled it up then it should look good. (Consider Fay's bob in the F2F pictures).

Fay went with an off-center part which is excellent for her face and very flirty. With straighter, finer hair, though, that's going to be in your eyes all day. With the bangs, I'd either go for a very straight, clean line just above the eyebrows (not as short as Bettie Page bangs), or longer bangs over the eyebrows but very textured and chipped out.

Thanks, Hec!! This is what I will discuss with the hairdresser.

How stinky is it? The standard Aveda scent kicks off my sensitivity like woah.

Whitefont for the tmi: the Self Control fragrance caused me to lose all control and ralf in the bathroom of a dancehall. I ended up desperately washing it out with granulated hand soap.

Talk about woah. Still haven't found another hairwax that works.

Mostly lurking...

That really sucks, juliana and beej! I love the smell of most Aveda stuff...I find it calming and soothing, which is one of the reasons I just love their products. Bummer that it can really set you guys off!

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

The hair talk made me try to print up a picture of Phoenix from X-Men to bring to the salon for the color, but the color won't print properly.

The status is NOT quo.

Since we're talking about haircuts...I'm going to get one in an hour. Nothing fancy; just trimming back the cut I already have and love. Also adding back a few more blonde highlights. The transformation is nearly complete.

...that is if the landlords show up to take the pictures for the rental listing. They were already supposed to be here. Grr.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

I love the smell of most Aveda stuff...I find it calming and soothing, which is one of the reasons I just love their products.

I find it nice, I just have to run from it. Which was a problem in Minneapolis, since it's the major salon & product.

The transformation is nearly complete.

Huzzah!

Aveda is great stuff. I'm down with the ethics and the natural products, etc.

It's just unfortunate that a lot of natural ingredients = big smells.

Actually, the unfortunate part is that I can smell a mole fart underground two blocks away. A superpower that is only useful for natural gas leaks. Other than that? PITA.
