Doesn't matter that we took him off that boat, Shepherd, it's the place he's going to live from now on.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Librarian Warlord

Hello, Bitches! I missed you.

I should not be watching video of bunnies. I should be catching up after a week away from my desk. However, bunnies are cuter than publishers catalogs, so Oxford and Thomson will have to wait for me to spend money with them.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

At the risk of seeming super silly, I'm taking this comic with me to my stylist today for a new hairdo (first image): [link]

GC, from the scant few (or one?) pictures I've seen of you, that cut will look FAB on you!

Mostly lurking...

The first college I went to, classes started at 7am. And EVERYONE had classes at that time... I think classes ended by 2pm. I don't remember exactly. Of course, this was the FAC (College instead of Church).

Although, it wasn't that unusual for things to start at that time in that town. After getting kicked out of the FAC, I got a job at the big insurance company in town. Their work hours? 7am-3:15pm. I actually kind of loved it. There's something very nice about being done with your workday at 3:15pm.

Now, though? I wouldn't *think* of taking an 8:30am class by choice. This summer I did the 8:15am make-up math class, but that was only for six weeks. I did ok and probably could do it (as my mom says, I'm up anyway), but it would seriously break into my sit-around-and-drink-two-cups-of-coffee-while-surfing-the-internet time.

Thanks! I've had variations of it many times. The chin-to-shoulder-lenght bob has always been my default style. I'm ready for it again.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

JZ - do you need a bunny? I know of an abandoned bunny that is currently sheltering in a house in my neighborhood with 6 cat and a bulldog. It is a lion head bunny ( it has a mane) and it needs a home. However, I am guessing David and Emmett would be allergic. but it is really cute.

I'm also going to get my hair colored when I get it cut. I'm thinking super dark (but not black) with a few not-chunky bright red highlights...

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

That's a great idea, Gloomcookie!

Everybody should aspire to looking like cool cartoon characters.

Like Maggie and Hopey

Or, I don't know...characters from Gloomcookie

Emmett had me attempt shampoo horns in the style of Astroboy the other day.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

While Hec is here and talking about hair....

I want something different. I've been thinking about growing it out on the sides and front so I can have a short, angeled bob with the front being longer than the back, but still shorter than my jawline.

However, I don't know if that would work on me. 1) I have super fine, thin hair that needs layers for body. 2) Will it make my round face even rounder and my chins even chinnier?

I totally want a stylized, comic or anime look, which I hope is not supremely silly on a 36-year-old woman...
