Spike's Bitches 31: We're Motivated Go-getters.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Mostly lurking...

Was just starting the beating up process about the exam. Decided to try to fix things by figuring out what it's going to do to my GPA (which, actually, maybe not such a smart move). But, it worked out in my favor.

I still have a 3.64. Guess I'm doing ok.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Huh. I just got spam with the header "Make your girlfriend or wife speechless with increased hardness". Are they selling tetanus?

ION, I had a dream last night where I get to the office (in heavy rain, look out my window and find that Melbourne is flooded. Through the magic of 'this is a dream', the floodwaters are not far below my window, and there's a blue whale outside.

My subconscious understands me.

No problem! I'm not going to have time to review things until later tonight, anyway.

During the last horrible deadline, my team had 9:30AM status meetings. After about the third one that I stumbled into while clutching a cup of coffee, my boss turned to me and said "Wow, you really are nocturnal, aren't you?"

I just blinked at her, and drank more coffee.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Mornings are a cruel, cruel trick that the universe keeps springing on me.

yes! The biggest drawback about teaching for me is the hours. I honestly don't know how I'm going to handle having to be at work at 7:30am.
