[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Also, apparently it's the wrong time of year to sell fancy dresses on ebay. I know that because I'm doing research. Research, I tell you. Research which has resulted in my wanting this and also this and this and let's not forget this. It's a good thing that I'm looking specifically at dresses which will not fit me.

(Although given that I've spent a good deal of today thinking about the issue of cultural appropriation, I'm feeling odd about the first one. But the point is, it's pretty.)

On the drive home from practice K-Bug was asking who lived in the Seattle area since it is confirmed that we will be up there for a week. I listed off some old high school friends, plus Jilli, Pete, Plei, Princess Tickybox...

K-Bug: Who is Princess Tickybox?
Me: ::detailed explanation::
K-Bug: But I'm THE Princess.
Me: Well, there are a lot of Buffista Princesses.
K-Bug: Heh, I'm older. I'll sit of the rest of them.
Me: ...

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

No squarshing of the Ticky!

Remind me, please, that it's better to sell heavy expensive textbooks I'm never going to use again than to take them across the country with me, even if I'm selling them for the cost of a bag of potato chips. Because it feels deeply, deeply wrong.
The potato chips will cost much less to ship. And your heart won't be broken when a box gets busted and they get skewered. Not that I am bitter...

I'm supposed to be post it somewhere tomorrow for you to nab and play with as necessary.

Sweet!

I hated selling textbooks back, especially for the amazing drop in price. But I've actually never missed them.

Mostly lurking...

Ugh. Someone make me go study. I just kind of don't care, which is terrible.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

The scary thing is, if it had been police code, I might have called it.

Well, he did have very cute kittens.

(Says the girl who once went back to a dodgy stranger's house in the wee small hours in a town in Transylvania on the basis of the cuteness of his 4 week old alsatian puppy, despite the fact that it had come out in our conversation in the pub that he had actually killed people before now.

...He was in the army when the killing-people stuff happened, though. And I was with 2 blokes, so it was 3 of us and one of him. But his old mother was asleep in the house in real Bates Motel style, and the room where we waited for him to fetch more glasses contained masses of junk, including an axe. But it was all fine. No, really.)

Thrive to spite them

I'm having a very bad day. Got permission to come in late to work. worried I'm going to be late for that.

When I get in I'm going to ask if I can stick around for a few hours and then go home. Don't know what I'm going to tell my supervisor, except I think I'm pmsing hard. Haven't taken my meds correctly. Which is stupid but I'm in this stupid stubborn phase right now and trying to self sabatoge. And owe my therpaist money so I cna't see her.

{{askye}} take care of you. Self-sabatoge? oh noes.

I am fully aware of the 420 slang.

I am wearing a super cute linen shirt today. It's bright yellow! I could be useful in a blackout emergency!
