What'd you all order a dead guy for?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Fashion question.

I have a formal wedding at the Ritz in a couple of weeks. What on earth do I wear?? Dress is Black Tie.

Is this too daytime-ish or too much? [link]

If I only had a brain...

For a wedding, Aimee, I think the rose one is *perfect* and you'll look wonderful. The black isn't really right for an evening wedding.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Perhaps I shall just trust that I am awesome and if anyone thinks differently they can bite me.

Oh, I don't want the black dress for the wedding. It makes me mad that they put *my* name on a dress I *love* and would look horrid on me.

I love the pink one.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

They brought him in the other night, and he got them out of a hole and kept them out, so they put him in for the last two innings and the save, today.

Woot! That is FG! I'm so glad he had better, more-dedicated teammates this year. Makes such a difference. I think that's one reason why Emmett likes the tournament team so much.

Emmett just worshipped the porcelin god. He's feeling better. He's scheduled for a birthday party this afternoon at a lazertag place, so I'm hoping that's all he needed.

It's tricky though - the party lasts longer than I had expected - Noon until 4:30 or 5:00. And we've got our friends coming in from Sacramento at 3:00pm. Also, the party is in the East Bay so I've got to go over and go back to collect him after they arrive. And since they're off in Pleasanton for the lazertag, I can't just go and get him early after a sane 2 1/2 hours of birthday party. Hmph. Who schedules a 5 hour birthday party anyway?

Maybe they want a bite of your awesome.

Now tagless for your comfort.

sj, exhaustion always makes pain worse. I'll have to look up the scientific stuff but having a cry out really does help--it releases some kind of chemical or something that helps. I'm glad you've got Teacup Guy.

Yay Ben! I know that winning isn't the most important thing in youth sports, but damn, losing all the time sucks.

I've also made myself sick on ballpark food.

Did anyone know that there is an actual Rock Paper Scissors League? and that they're having a championship broadcast on A&E today? $50,000 to win. I swear, it's like watching the movie Dodgeball.
