Send the letter. It sounds like they need to see the problem spelled out in black and white on a page in front of them.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Seconding (thirding?) the recommendation to send the letter. They're all sweetness and light now, but if you don't follow through the chances are they'll go right back to barging in with no notice. vw, it's your HOME - you need and deserve your privacy.
That's actually how I'm leaning. I may change a few things in the letter based on her message this morning, but, well, I don't know.
I'd be inclined to let her screw up one more time before sending the letter if she sounded contrite enough.
But either way the chain lock goes on yesterday.
Fuck fuck fuck, y'all. A work situation may be going from bad to disastrous as we speak. Fuck.
Also, send the letter and install the chain.

ION, I LOVE my new landlord.
Verizon was stupid enough to send out my DSL equipment to my new address before I actually moved in. It was delivered yesterday (meaning, left on the porch). New landlord was at the apartment to check on the door installation process. He saw the box on the porch, knew right away that it was mine and probably what it was and that Verizon screwed up, and he set it on the kitchen counter.
How cool is he?
