I've gotten full refunds on two security deposits because of that law.
It's the best law EVAR.
Sorry about the boy worries, vw. I have no advice to offer, just patience-ma and commiseration. I suck at it, too, which may sound bullshitty since I actually have a boy, but I assure you it happened not only through no effort of my own, but very likely in spite of myself.

It's kind of stupid. I mean, it's been what? Three days. Ok, four. But, it was going so well, and I probably got over-excited, and blech.
I just don't know when it's ok for me to e-mail again and say, "DUDE! I liked you! What's up?"
I think you found the flaw in the email plan - you have no way of knowing anything - like did his cat spill water and kill his keyboard, did I say too much , or did he get distracted by work, family, etc. I'd wait a little longer

That is a FANTASTIC law! Because many of my landlords have been painfully slow about this.
It's the law here too, Em. I've gotten VERY familiar with the law today.
Actually - maybe now is the time ....
Just let him know that you had enjoied the corospondence and all though you knoiw anything could have happened - the problem with email is that you can't seehear anything. give him a little chit chat and then you can ask him to let you know if he doesn't want to here from you again
wait ... i still want some sympathy on dealing with the unemployment office - 4 years after I should have been done with them.
That does suck, Beth. I hope you can get them to go away soon.
That's crap, beth, I'm sorry you have to deal with it. I hate the assumption that you are trying to get away with something that those types of letters always seem to have.
Have all the e-mails been over the weekend, vw? Maybe he can't correspond while he's at work.

All the e-mails from Friday were from work. He's the General Manager of a movie theater, so I suppose he can do what he wants. It was weird, 'cause he told me he had Sunday off, but then didn't e-mail at all all day.
I know I'm overthinking this. It's just...you know...what I do.
