Spike's Bitches 31: We're Motivated Go-getters.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
C Newton - afaict, he was an ass
M Fibonacci - came up with sexy sexy series, and successful import business
F Pascal - that triangle has to be worth a roll in the hay
Continuing to hope that this one works, connie.
I frequently get that same "I don't belong here" vibe
This describes my every day life.
Oh Fay. Le Bloke has a theory that the further we move towards the Meadowhall end of the city, the uglier people get. I think he might be right.
F Newton - he'd find some way to do an experiment during the process, which would be fun, but was a bit unstable. (for definitions of "bit" that mean "hella lot")
C Fibonacci - no real reason, just cuz
M Pascal - I'm sure I have reasons, somewhere
I frequently get that same "I don't belong here" vibe
I was singing along to "Creep" the other day and feeling angsty.
That was a beautiful piece of writing, Fay.

Well, I was there today and my goodness there were some unattractive people. (Granted, part of it is a residual sense of 'my God, you're all so pasty and sick-looking!' at the fact that 90% of them are white. But that's not the whole story. No indeed.)
On the subject of Meadowhall, though - have you seen the Big Gay Pirate Movie yet? (Or Over the Hedge, the trailer for which [on the Madagascar DVD, iirc] utterly won me over because of William Shatner in full scenery-chewing mode - both The Flatmate and I gasped very audibly when he appeared on the trailer, in a total OMGWTFCaptainKirk!!!!! kinda way.) If you're all moved and stuff, we could maybe do dinner and a movie? Er. In a non-porny way.
Meanwhile, did you know that Geoffrey Chaucer wrote Harry Potter?
On a related note, these t shirts are VERY tempting. I am especially fond of 'All Your Aquitaine Are Belong To Us' and 'I wolde I knewe how of thee I might be quitten

No indeed I have not! Ima promised to some archaeologists that I'll go with them at some point, but I certainly don't see there being any problem with seeing it twice. Or three or four times, mayhap. In any case, the porny way is just fine.
Also, did you know there's some kind of comic book/SF thingy on in the town tomorrow?
