We've signed Ben up for a summer league (the "Sandlot" league, the name of which pleases me to no end because of the film by the same name) but either they haven't started playing yet, or they took our 30 bucks and ran.

beth, my mother had really good results painting paneling. She didn't try to make it not look like paneling though (no joint compound, just paint). And in the end, it didn't look like paneling, anyhow. I mean, the grooves weren't filled in or anything, but it still looked like a whole new thing, and the grooves weren't noticeable. I'm just mentioning, in case applying wallboard compound gets too tedious, or if won't stay put.

I was working from home last night and just could not concentrate because of all the screaming kids. There are two more than usual these days. Plus, I was tired. I gave up and came into work early today. I made it here in half an hour! Traffic at this hour is kind of nonexistent.
