No. You're missing the point. The design of the thing is functional. The plan is not to shoot you. The plan is to get the girl. If there's no girl, then the plan, well, is like the room.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I lied. I figure it's time I start doing that with regards to this apartment and the landlords.

I'm imagining you saying something like, "The bus noises really are the only real problem because the landlords are great."

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

sending out the ma for jobs and tests

trying to decide what things I really want/need to get done this am. now that I have spent 2 hours at the coffee shop. Laundry is tops. but I think cleaning the bedroom is up there. However, the cat thinks I should follow him around saying good kitty.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Gloomcookie, do you know how the other peeps did? Maybe it was just a hard test.

The average was 77, so I scored 1 point less than the average. There was a time that a C on a stats test would have thrilled me. Now, however, I'm disappointed. I put in a lot of time doing homework and studying and I did well on the practice tests. V. v. annoying. Of course, the lowest grade received was a 27 (!!!), so I guess it could be worse.

move out and draw fire

We found the dog's people, and he is now back with them.

I'm so glad he and his people are back together, but I'm a little sad that you do not have a dog.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Really, it's for the best, what with the moving without a specific place to live, even. I'm sure I will not be dog-less forever. It is not the way of my people.

My stats prof way back when would go through a statistical analysis of each question in class. "Nobody got this question right, clearly it was a bad question, so I'm throwing it out." Or, "Half the class missed this one, so if you got it wrong and you can justify your answer to me, I will give it to you." And, "Hmm, 75% of the class had trouble with the bits about ____, let me go over that again...." Maybe you will get the same opportunity? It was stats for the social sciences, taught by the same prof who taught Psychological Measurement and Psych. Experimental Design. - so it made sense to me that she would suspect her own test construction as much as she would suspect our lack of knowlege.

Exam~ma for Jen.

Ailleann, job~ma, right thing happening~ma for you.

Coding and Sleeping

There's a Dr. Who marathon on Sci-Fi to keep me amused.

My Mythbox should be busy recording this. Shoot, I went to check but I think the IP address of my cable connection has changed. I'll have to look it up at home tonight.

vanguard of the socialist Hollywood liberal homosexualist agenda

Thanks for the ~ma...

Interview went decently well. It was my first phone interview, so it was a little strange at first. I sat in my car (because it seems like bad karma to sit in my office and interview for another job...), so I'm answering questions about my strengths and weaknesses while looking at trees. I was a little rocky at the start, but I think I finished pretty well. I knew two of the three interviewers from working there before.

I'll hear about a f2f interview in one to two weeks. They're looking at an ASAP start date, with no later than August 1 as a start date.

thinks about moving in a month. head explodes.

eta: because Gud pointed out that my colloquialism was, in actuality, grammatical crap...
