What you did to me was unbelievable, Connor. But then I got stuck in a hell dimension by my girlfriend one time for a hundred years, so three months under the ocean actually gave me perspective. Kind of a M.C. Escher perspective, but I did get time to think.

Spike's Bitches 31: We're Motivated Go-getters.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Has Joe Jackson always looked like Gollum?

Pretty much.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

That's a cool watch.

HAppy birthday, Hec! Here's wishing you excellent food, a perfectly concocted martini and smiling short-haired lassies with shears to serve it!

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Whyfor oops, Lee?

And no more Ows for Raq. The Daniel song is priceless.

I have new boooookshelves, I have new boooookshelves. Floor to ceiling, hardback depth and height built-ins on one side of half the hall, floor to ceiling paperback depth and height on both sides of the other half of the hall. Now we get to sit and go through ALL our books and cull. I've already got two bags of Teppers and Rices and gadawful no-name gothics. Plus 20 year-old Fisherman's Almanac and PDR.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Happy Hec day! You are as cool and swinging as a Tom Waits song.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

I'm going through my books and taking a good long look at what I'm going to keep - I've got many too many. Some I will probably never read again and they've taken over the place.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Man, I love the old Hamilton Venturas... I searched in total vain for one for DxH years ago. Ended up finding a vintage Hamilton pocketwatch instead. I really liked the Ventura though...

Pretty much.
Creepy.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Whyfor oops, Lee?

One wrong thread post, and at least one double post. And 'Cuz I have a DOA brain.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

What is salad just doing there in the break room, not being eaten? I will eat you, salad! Here, I will put Newman's Own balsamic vinaigrette on you and avoid the craisins or whatever the hell those are.

Hm, actually, they're pretty good. And they probably go well with the apples.

"I've got a gun! I've got a mother-flippin' gun!" - Moss, The IT Crowd

Skippety & Timelies

And a (belated) Happy Birthday to a plethora of Buffistas.

Kitties are still fun, and occasionally noisy. Tzepesh has become too inquisitive regarding surfaces he shouldn't be on. Both new kitties assure us that they should be fed wet food at the least twice a day, maybe three or more! We're not buying it, though, sadly, Trinian is.

My car had it's 90,000 mile service and I came out of it a full $1000 poorer. And I had to return it because a faulty seal on the oil pan was dripping oil right onto the hot exhaust causing the stink of burning oil. Then a stone put another crack in my windshield and it looks to be the one to break the proverbial camel's back and I will have to replace it soon. And one of my tires has a slow leak.

And I woke up with a start this morning and have had very slight adrenalized shakes all day.

Bollocks to all this, I say.

In better news, the F2F pictures are nearly done. I have had some fun with photoshop wizardry, changing one Miracleman photo so subtly that it'll take some hunting to find it, changing a Drew photo in a completely unsubtle way, and hitting a new highpoint in PS achievement by seamlessly transplanting a pair of eyes from one photo to another to fix an unfortunate blinking accident that was ruining an otherwise great picture. I challenge everyone to find that one, when I finally get it on the web. There's some other things added to, but I think the joy of the hunt is what's fun, don't you? Hopefully get the first batch of photos up very soon.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Speaking of watches (and b/c he's here), Pete has a kickass watch.

Also, Tofutti sugar-free fudge popsicles (30 calories) might be the best thing ever invented.

Also also, I ordered a seriously cute swimsuit that is going to look great on me, and I need it delivered ASAP b/c I have a pool party on Saturday. t /shallow
