[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

What is salad just doing there in the break room, not being eaten? I will eat you, salad! Here, I will put Newman's Own balsamic vinaigrette on you and avoid the craisins or whatever the hell those are.

Hm, actually, they're pretty good. And they probably go well with the apples.

"I've got a gun! I've got a mother-flippin' gun!" - Moss, The IT Crowd

Skippety & Timelies

And a (belated) Happy Birthday to a plethora of Buffistas.

Kitties are still fun, and occasionally noisy. Tzepesh has become too inquisitive regarding surfaces he shouldn't be on. Both new kitties assure us that they should be fed wet food at the least twice a day, maybe three or more! We're not buying it, though, sadly, Trinian is.

My car had it's 90,000 mile service and I came out of it a full $1000 poorer. And I had to return it because a faulty seal on the oil pan was dripping oil right onto the hot exhaust causing the stink of burning oil. Then a stone put another crack in my windshield and it looks to be the one to break the proverbial camel's back and I will have to replace it soon. And one of my tires has a slow leak.

And I woke up with a start this morning and have had very slight adrenalized shakes all day.

Bollocks to all this, I say.

In better news, the F2F pictures are nearly done. I have had some fun with photoshop wizardry, changing one Miracleman photo so subtly that it'll take some hunting to find it, changing a Drew photo in a completely unsubtle way, and hitting a new highpoint in PS achievement by seamlessly transplanting a pair of eyes from one photo to another to fix an unfortunate blinking accident that was ruining an otherwise great picture. I challenge everyone to find that one, when I finally get it on the web. There's some other things added to, but I think the joy of the hunt is what's fun, don't you? Hopefully get the first batch of photos up very soon.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Speaking of watches (and b/c he's here), Pete has a kickass watch.

Also, Tofutti sugar-free fudge popsicles (30 calories) might be the best thing ever invented.

Also also, I ordered a seriously cute swimsuit that is going to look great on me, and I need it delivered ASAP b/c I have a pool party on Saturday. t /shallow

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Oof. I've been nibbled to death by ducks at work today. Somebody better invent the vodka IV stat.

Happy birthday to Deb and Nic!

Happy birthday to Hec!

Raq, please to not injure the hotness that is you.

Adorable kitties! They all lust after the wet food. Fie on the car repairs though, Pete.

Seriously cute swimsuit is right, Tep. I like very much.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

Happy HecDebNic Day!!! A day for all Buffistas to celebrate! (or even to cerebrate, as I started to type).

two bags of Teppers and Rices

Um, is that an offer, Bev? 'Cuz I might have a friend who's been looking to replace some mysteriously missing (possibly loaned) Teppers and Rices, and could be induced to pay/bribe for shipping, if you're so inclined (and if you've already made the offer in Press or BeepMe, please excuse my haven't-read-announcements-yet-pushiness).

Raq, brilliant Daniel Song. Please be careful of your lovely self on the steps so you can keep the good material coming t /selfish.

Lovely travels and continued adventures, Fay!

Pete, ouch on the car, but yay on the pics. Can't hardly wait to see them!

Ah, the same battle of wills is ongoing at Casa Cass. I'm not really sure who is winning.

They'd be gods as well.

I should be finishing laundry and packing. I am not. This is going to be an issue when I have to leave for the airport in 15 hours.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

AGHHHH!

Ok, this is actually a good thing.

In December I met a guy at a Christmas party. Very nice guy. We chatted and exchanged numbers and were going to get together after the holiday.

After the holiday came and he called and bailed. He and the Ex-GF were giving it another shot. I appreciated the call (he really didn't have to). I appreciated the not being kept around as a back-up, etc. Nice guy.

The other day he called out of the clear blue sky. We're chatting. They broke up a few months ago, would I like to go out?

HELLS YES. Nice guy, honest guy, even waited a couple of months after the break-up to call.

We're supposed to go see my cousin's band play tomorrow night. Excellent. Going to take a car service from work and look all cute and blah blah blah.

Calls today... client is making noises about moving meeting and he might not be able to make it tomorrow, can he take me out for a drink tonight...

"Um..."

"Is there a problem with tonight?"

"Well... I'm not cute"

Tonight we're meeting for drinks. I am not cute. Ah well.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

You are cute. You are more than cute, you are adorable. I've seen a bad picture of you, and even it was cute. So, you may not be fancy or have a car service tonight, but have a great evening without having to stress ahead of time about it!
