Yay Dallas!
Oh and talking of airlines. My 84 years old Mom is flying to NY in July. One of her friends asked her if she wasn't nervous about flying given how uncomfortable air travel is these days. She replied: "No problem for me. I'm five foot one and weigh 105 pounds; I'm the person airline seats were designed for."
I AM SO RELIEVED to hear that Dallas is fine that I deem it worthy of asscaps.
Trudy, please cuddle her for me. And cuddle yourself[1], too, because it's so stressful to have to wait for info like that.
[1] And if that means porn, so be it.
wrod.
bitches has been a little porn-less for my taste lately.
Trudy - I'm so happy and relieved that Dallas is okay!
Why am I here when I have to be at the airport in 7 hours?
Oh yeah, let's make out!
SHE'S FINE SHE'S FINE SHE'S FINE SHE'S FINE SHE'S FINE!!!!!!!!
Yeah, Trudes! I'm so happy for you and for Dallas.
We're having popcorn with parmesan cheese for dinner again.
Oooh, yum. I think I may have figured out what I'm having for dinner.
We had our tea, garden tour and plant sale today. It went
very
well, which is especially good because it was rainy today. It's kind of funny, though. I'm reading this wonderful book,
Not Buying It,
by Judith Levine. I've been finding it quite inspiring, but I still bought a beautiful Rie Munoz print for
ahem.
But I do love it. I don't need it, but it's beautiful and I've been wanting a Rie Munoz print for years. And all the money goes to our building fund, so it's a good thing, right?
It is very nice, and you picked a great time to induge yourself , because you get two thing for you ( the print and the church) plus something for the community ( the church) .
I think the hardest thing as an adult in US at this point is figureing out what you need vs what you want, and then figureing out whihc wants are good wants ( good for you , give the most bang for the buck, make more people happy) , which wants are worth waiting for ( until you have the cash) and which wants are lottery wants.
I don't need it, but it's beautiful
Just focus on this. Especially if you could afford it. We have to have stuff we don't "need."
Thanks guys. I do love it. I have a feeling art may end up being my downfall, but it's a good downfall as these things go, I think. I may change my mind when I'm 80 and still working.
