No one there had ever heard of such a thing, but both of my younger siblings had one and it was cute, so I did it
For little kids, I think it's fun. They love it, it's a way to help them understand that they're moving on to a new grade, a new teacher, what have you. I can't believe you did all that work yourself, though. You're amazing.
Why in kindergarten?
I wasn't clear -- it wasn't really graduation, it was just an end-of-year program, more for the parents to see the kids sing songs and be cute. Ben's teacher was into the whole teamwork thing, and working on a group project, so they made the decorations and practiced the songs, and all that. It was during class, too, not a separate event.
Ohmigod, I can't type today.
In honor of Teppy Day, I think we should all get naps and ice cream.
Who's with me?

As long as I can have gelato, I'm totally with you.
I'd be willing to make it an annual celebration!

I lobby for Fernet.
Fernet gelato?
shudder
Oh look, I seem to have hit my limit on Fernet. Hmmmm.
Also, tonight is a whiskey night for me, since I will be wearing Teh Cowboy Hat in celebration of C's birthday. Also the boots & denim skirt. I'm such a whore. But! Point being, cowboy hat=whiskey. Or beer. Often both.
I finished my gelato yesterday (Tepmas Eve) because it was frigging 98 degrees. I am ignoiring teh fact that it is supposed to stay hot until next Tuesday and believing that my newly installed window fan will keep me cool from now on.
I have a phone interview in approx. 15 monutes. I have completely lost interest in this position, which I was first contacted about at least two weeks ago. Judging by what appears to be inherent slowness of the process, I may be interested again by the time the next step, if any, comes around, so I feel I should feign some enthusiasm.
