We only did a graduation at the end of 12th grade, and it was pretty consistently the case that half the kids who started high school didn't finish high school, so they never had a graduation. Which I'm okay with, hard-ass at that may be.
I mean, about 5 per year didn't finish high school because they died, but that's another thing entirely.
In honor of Tep's birthday, I had a lovely Me Day. I think Tep Day should be an international holiday.
Also? Officially sick of the World Cup. I know, I know, humbug. But seriously people - sausage packaged to look like soccer balls? FIFA soccer ball shaped cereal?
juliana - my undying thanks - yet again. Yummy sounds are coming from my iPod.

Yes, this.
Veggies and tofu only ever amount to a snack for him.

Mmmmm. Kane or Corb?
Happy birthday Teppy! May it be full of good things.
And, piggy-backing on the good wishes - graduation for me was high school and college, nothing for kindegarten or elementary school. A lot of the people I went to HS with didn't go on to college, so it was their only one.
And Sparky - and other librarians - I used to see someone in my neighborhood with a "Conan the Librarian" t-shirt.
Kane at the moment. I put all the stuff you sent onto a playlist, so it bounces around.
Yesterday's workplace headdesk continues. GAH.

Kitsch should never be taken seriously.
Tep, I hope this is the best birthday ever.
I must admit that the only reason Nick had a kindergarten graduation (during the last day of school, took about a half hour) is because I planned it, organized it, bought the little certificates and made the little mortarboards and tassels. No one there had ever heard of such a thing, but both of my younger siblings had one and it was cute, so I did it, and the other parents also thought it was cute, and brought video cameras and such, and it was the only graduation Nick had, so... um... there.
