Angel: He is dead. Technically, he's undead. It's a zombie. Connor: What's a zombie? Angel: It's an undead thing. Connor: Like you? Angel: No, zombies are slow-moving, dimwitted things that crave human flesh. Connor: Like you. Angel: No! It's different. Trust me.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Are you filled with hard candies which have melted together into one sugary lump?

Oooh, hard AND sweet!

Or is that somebody else? I feel I should be wishing somebody something. Can't be sure what, though.

Yay, vw!

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

Yeah, vw! Now, the important question. What's going in the built-in china cabinet? China? Books? Other stuff?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

YAY VW!

Love the House of Reason kitty stories! Still want pics though.

I know when Teppy's birthday is...hang on...it's like in November or something.

I thought it was Feb 29th?

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Smarch 13th.

Mostly lurking...

Totally my dishes. They're so cute! Lemme see if I can find the pattern online. Ooooo...here they are: [link]

ETA: I have like a million serving dishes, so the china cabinet will be so perfect to display them.

I'm getting the pig!

Yay vw!! I'm so very happy for you.

Poor, poor P-C. Healing ~ma to you.

Can someone link to a picture of this... Teppy, is it? And what is this birthday thing that you speak of?

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Insent to Teppy.

Oy gevalt. Since Emmett's Triple A team, The Mets, won the Albany Little League championship, they're scheduled to play in the Berkeley Tournament of Champions (ToC). But he's also on the 9 y.o. tournament team, The Albany Eagles, scheduled to play in Burlingame this weekend.

I just got an email: "The albany little league officials are concerned about emmett's potential absence from the Met's TOC game on Saturday."

It's nice to know he's wanted, but...

Actually, it shouldn't be too big of a deal. He can play in the morning game in the ToC, missing one game with the Eagles in Burlingame, and then go do the afternoon game in Burlingame. But I'm going to be in LA this weekend, so it's pretty much his mom's call. Might actually be easier for EM, since she wouldn't have to spend all day Saturday in Burlingame.

It's just a little weird when the local little league powers-that-be are invested in your kid's presence.
