I'm all up in the law now, but damn it feels good to get my violence on.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I have yet to get a full night of sleep here in the working world. Although after waking up at 5:30 this morning (stupid cat), I did finish my book, which everyone should really read -- Julie and Julia, by the woman who cooked all the recipes in Mastering the Art of French Cooking. It's so fun and funny! And I don't understand why she's neither a Buffista nor my friend in real life, as she was living more or less in my neighborhood, and loves Buffy.

Now to watch last night's Daily Show.

OK, I actually wish JS would have let Bennett talk more. He can talk all he wants at the top of the show.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I turned off the DS right before the Bennett segment. Am I going to get hives watching the man, who strikes me as pompous, arrogant AND hypocritical?

Swouncing

Jesse, I'm glad you find ways to enjoy your early mornings, even if they may be forced upon you by the cat.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

AH Jesse, my partner in up at 5:30.

The boss and I are at work (although so far I am avoiding really doing any). Several of us are in disagreement with the CEO about one aspect of a project. We are going to lose, but we are right. frustrating.

ION, hey, look, RAIN! We best have a nice weekend. That's all I'm saying.

IOON, I am wearing green today and that makes me happy. My boss is wearing orange, also happy. These are my 2 favorite colors right now.

I am actually thinking of painting the second bedroom orange, or having orange prominent.

move out and draw fire

I forwarded that Slate link to my friend in Tbilisi. Maybe she will go get some phages and report back!

ION, I've been reading CSIS essays on global trends, and am getting quite depressed. They are more moderate-to-right than Al Gore, but less optimistic. For example, they believe that human life (at least in the First World) will be extended to 120 years by 2040, if not 2025. For people my age, our dotage will be extended by another 50 years, but for Mal's age group, the whole aging process will slow.

How is that a good thing? We've too many people already, and I don't think we are psyhologically or socially set up for that.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Huh. I woke up this morning to find that I can see noticeably better in my left eye. Weird.

And it hurts a lot less, although it still looks gross as fuck.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Yay for seeing better!

I mean, the vision still sucks in that eye, but I don't think I'm legally blind in that eye anymore....
