hip deep in pie

It was a very high-concept play about an 18th century french prostitute in prison who suddenly had a freshly murdered (but alive) Hypatia appear in her cell. They then had a big math-and-philosophy discussion, which was fairly entertaining and the reason I had picked the play. The next part of the play came as an unpleasant surprise - they took off their clothes and washed each other. Eek!

Ouise, I probably sold you the ticket for that play. One of the actors was my roommate.

Deadwood lead to me referring to the many jellyfish I saw this weekend as motherfucking cockersuckers.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I've never seen Deadwood, and I refer to all sorts of things as motherfucking cocksuckers. Dunno if this means I should watch or avoid.

In other news, I should've called in sick today and didn't.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I just arranged with my boss to take Thursday off. Not for any particular reason, but just because I still have 23.5 days to take this year. I was originally planning on taking this week off, but that didn't happen (a project deadline came up instead).

I swear like a sailor, but Deadwood just rubbed me the wrong way. I've tried it two or three times, and it just makes me uncomfortable. Oh, well, I don't have showtime anyway :).

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

So what did people do this weekend?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I went to the movies and bought some stuff and did some laundry and whatnot.

Just now, I saw a really really hot guy moving OUT of my building. WTFF?

Compassionately intolerant

I went to the DC Fringe Festival and saw 3 short plays about Dangerous Devotion. One was about Fascism, another about Love and the last, about Religion. The last was a cable access program called The Book of Leviticus Show. It was hilarious and disturbing.

Also visited DSW and bought 10!pairs of shoes (for $250 total). I had to then lie down with a cold cloth on my head. I hate shoe shopping above all things aaaannnnddd spending that kind of money on shoes?

IWFG. I then came home and pitched 8 pairs of shoes. 2 more and the universe will be back in balance.
