Gunn: The final score can't be rigged. I don't care how many players you grease, that last shot always comes up a question mark. But here's the thing. You never know when you're taking it. It could be when you're duking it out with the Legion of Doom, or just crossing the street deciding where to have brunch. So you just treat it like it was up to you—the world in balance—'cause you never know when it is.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Oh, Consuela, I'm so sorry. Let me know if you want to go do something mindless/distracting tomorrow.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

It's done. I was okay until the vet started tearing up. And then they did it, and he just put his head down and now I can't stop crying.

I feel like I did something horrible. He was 15 and his kidneys and liver were failing and he felt horrible and going up and down stairs hurt and I still feel awful.

::snorfles all over the Buffistas::

You didn't do anything awful, Consuela. You gave him a great life, and an easy and painless end. I know that doesn't stop you from feeling awful, but it's still true.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Aw, Consuela. You did right by him. It's so hard losing a pet, even when you're prepared for it.
