Can't even shout, Can't even cry. The Gentlemen are coming by. Looking in windows, knocking on doors. They need to take seven, and they might take yours. Can't call to mom, can't say a word. You're gonna die screaming but you won't be heard.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Happy birthday, Kat!!

I also have a true love for Pimp My Ride, but I don't Tivo it. Except the one time I realized it was like two in the morning and I have a DVR so why am I planning on watching two more hours of this silly show right now?

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Happy Birthday, Kat!

9 hours of sleep last night. Yay.

Hey Nilly, Leif was talking about the number 17 a couple of nights ago. I tried to tell him about the perfection of 28 but that lead to an argument with Emaryn because 'just because you think 28 is perfect doesn't mean it is'. I tried to explain that 28 actually was a perfect number like 2 is an even number, but she wasn't buying it.

Leif has also learned that the electromagnetic force is stronger than gravity from watching Nova with us. Not bad for a four year old, maybe he has a bright future in science.

Ow ow ow. Stupid shoes. Yay for a big box of band-aids behind the reception desk.

The worst part is, the shoes LOOK like they'd be really comfortable. So it's not like I'm suffering to look really good.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Sorry, Jesse. So not fair. On the upside, maybe that means there's a pair of beautiful, but direly uncomfortable looking shoes that would feel unexpectedly great on your feet.

Happy Birthday, Kat!

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Happy Birthday, Kat!

And belated happies to Ms. bug!

Ooh, maybe. I think the truth is, my feet are babies. Everything rips up my little piggies! Lame.

And to add insult to injury, there are apparently farm-fresh peaches in our kitchen here, which I will not eat, due to the stupid drupe issue.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Happy Birthday, Kat.
