My today is stupid. There are many reasons for this, but I will focus my ire on people who park at stop signs and stoplight traffic creep.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Matilda is a nice name!

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Matilda, for reals? Love it! My (good) grandmother was Grace Matilda.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Matilda was actually my cat's name (still is her name, she's just someone else's cat now). But we're not naming the baby after the cat. Rather, the cat and the baby are both named after Roald Dahl's Matilda, which I have loved for ages and which also happens to be one of Emmett's favorite Dahl books (and one of his favorite movies), and anything that will make Emmett feel more kindly disposed toward his prospective sibling is very much of the good.

Which means that if the Halloweenie turns out, four sonos to the contrary, to be a boy, we may have to go with Wyatt Earp Smay. But we'll cross that bridge when and if we come to it.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

You can call her Mattie for short! (My mother's name, BTW.)

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

But we're not naming the baby after the cat.

Likely story.

You guys could totally pull off a Wyatt -- total hipster name.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I know a Wyatt toddler, and it is a very cool and awesome kid name.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm for it. I feel like Smay lends itself to cool names anyway.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I LOVE the name Matilda. Lots of cool diminutives for it, too. I personally like Tilda.

JZ, I think with four sonos, you can be safe to plan for a girl. With Olivia, the doc pointed out the taco shape which, really, made me choke with laughter. But then, my OB could probably do stand up comedy and make a living.

But in case they're wrong--go with Wyatt. It rocks. (Isn't Emmett's favorite character Doc Holiday? I wouldn't go with "Doc.")

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

At this point, is taco shape a spoiler?
