Aimee, he mops the floor with vinegar. Seriously.
Wow.

Wow.
We just got August's Wired. It's not available on the Wired web site yet, which is a shame, because Steven Colbert is on the cover, and he wrote an article titled "how to be an expert on everything".
Interesting. Thanks.
Okay I have to go grade now so I can pick up the kids a bit early. Poor Franny, she was so broken this morning that she wouldn't let me leave daycare. She cried for an hour. That is SO not like her. I was worried there was something seriously amiss, but I spoke to her teacher at 12:45 and she was doing fine.
Oh, poor Franny! I'm glad she's feeling better.
I would totally scrub our kitchen floor with vinegar if I thought Hec wouldn't flip out like a mammal over it, but he probably would, so we both compromise mostly by just never scrubbing the kitchen floor.
Shit, ita. Your poor brain. I'm so sorry about the ongoing crappitude of the migraines.
Also, tommyrot? Re some total stranger's recent discovery of the proto-Bender? Humph, I say, humph.
Vinegar actually does the job, JZ. I was surprised, but hey, it cleans the floor. It also cleans the mirrors and windows.
I always use vinegar and water to do mirrors and windows, and scrunched newspaper to wipe.
ita, I hope you get some relief from your migraines soon.
That's what my dad always used. It worked better than Widow cleaner, particularly when used with the newspaper, instead of paper towels.
ita, if I prayed, I'd pray that you would soon be better, but I don't pray, so I'm having a drink to your health instead.
I clean everything with vinegar. I'm allergic to mold and harsh chemicals make me dizzy, so it's perfect. I add it to the laundry to soften the water, too.
These two sentences don't go together. Despite my mother's inclination to drink cider vinegar for her health, I don't recommend it.
edited because, drinking

Though it is good for sunburn.
