Oh, dear ita. Here's hoping the migraines manifest soon so you can kick the everloving shit out of them.

Timelies all!
I'm being such a slacker. I agreed to be point person for the plumber today(we've had some mysterious water in the utility room, and were worried it was the water heater) so I left work at 1 to let the plumber in. He left around 1:45, but I decided not to go back to work. Heck, I have to use vacation time for this, so why not?(I have plenty of vacation time available)
horrible that not one of the medical practiciners has found a cause and that you are having to deal with this day in and day out.
Much, much head-ma, ita. I can't even comprehend dealing with a week of what you've been going through for far, far too long.
Ouch. Sorry to hear about the excessive migraine ita. Here's hoping relief comes sooner rather than later.
Thanks, guys. I chugged leftover Gatorade and Red Bull from last night (doctor's suggestion), cranked up the fan and AC and went back to sleep. Migraine is much further in the background.
ER people told me to come back anytime, but it was a very prolonged stay for a strange sort of relief. Half my headache went away, but I became very cold and agitated. Turns out what they gave me was supposed to be an anti-anxiety drug amongst other things.
Not going back.
If it comes back badly today, I might hit the acupuncturist (thanks for the offer, Kristin! You're on my list now) instead. At least he doesn't take so long, and manages to break it a bit.
Oh, and I guess I should call my doctor and tell her what happened. Blah.
Half my headache went away, but I became very cold and agitated. Turns out what they gave me was supposed to be an anti-anxiety drug amongst other things.
What did they give you? I doubt they gave you super-ibuprofen, but when I went in suspecting meningitis that injection made me super-anxious and chair-dancy. I've hardly been less comfortable in my life.
I'm glad the migraine's a bit better. And I hope they can figure out a way to stake it once and for all.
They gave me compazine. Which I'd never heard of outside of instructions barked on the show ER. The headache in the back of my head left, but I became sleepy, fidgety and really cold, all at once.
Now I have to go make breakfast. I'm irrationally scared of moving, although the part of me with sense tells me it'll be reasonably okay.
I just don't want it to hurt anymore.
The headache in the back of my head left, but I became sleepy, fidgety and really cold, all at once.
That sounds ... suboptimal.
Did I post here about how excited I was to get a CBC a few months ago? CBC! Chem 7! STAT!
