Saffron: But we've been wed. Aren't we to become one flesh? Mal: Well, no, uh... We're still two fleshes here, and I think that your flesh ought to sleep somewhere else.

Jess needs a coffee I.V., stat.

The hivemind is so useful. Thanks to Lee, and everyone else who weighed in on the garlic prawns issue.

billytea, please don't serve the Wallybee garlic prunes. That could be a deal-breaker.

Erika, I think the letter was imortant because it means they are starting to feel like an honest to goddam community who are pulling together to prevent the high-and-mighty cocksucker Hearst from ruining that. Also, I think of the current powers that be are getting a taste of what it feels like to be treated as less than trash by someone more powerful, and aren't necessarily reacting the way they thought they would to that situation. I suspect, given the historical details concerning Hearst, that victory over him may be achieved, but not on the usual terms for Deadwood (the town or the show).

I'm not sure that makes any sense. Plus, I'm speaking from the ignorant perspective of someone who's only seen a random handfull of the first two seasons.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

A confusing anti-global warming poster: [link]

It seems to imply that if global warming continues, the skies of large cities will be filled with flying cephalopods.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

It seems to imply that if global warming continues, the skies of large cities will be filled with flying cephalopods.

In that case, bring it on!

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

That poster looks a little bit like the last episode of Angel, to me.

Oh, erika, DEADWOOD question of my own - do you think that Al's last harangue at Doc was his own inimitable way of telling Doc that he cares about him, and would miss him if he's gone?

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

It seems to imply that if global warming continues, the skies of large cities will be filled with flying cephalopods.

I, for one, welcome our Cephalopod masters.

Given the recent humidity, I think the cephalopods-o-doom may already be here.
