I just think it's rather odd that a nation that prides itself on its virility should feel compelled to strap on forty pounds of protective gear just in order to play rugby.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

It bakes all the way through. It it is a very eggy batter, so it has more of an omelet texture than a cake texture.

But the question I have is...did you leave the pits in?!!

I need to go run my errands. I do. I will go.

House is quite clean, hair is dyed and I just ate more naan and a couple popsicles for lunch.

Big poofy white anvils off to the northeast, against a brilliant blue sky. Probably low 80s out, low humidity. It's really lovely.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

My plan for the day was to go to costco, go to work, go to TJ's, come home, do laundry, start to tackle the guest room, nap, then more guest room.

I've done pretty well, except for the part where I didn't actually go into Costco since I discovered in the parking lot that I didn't have my wallet with me, so no costco card, so no lamp or fan.

I'm done with the work stuff and the TJ's run, and two loads of laundry are in, with more sorted. Pretty soon I should try to find my wallet.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I have not done a goddamned thing today. I don't really mind though, because the weather is so pleasant.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

I'm in progress with laundry. 1 load in the dryer, 1 in the washer, 1 waiting to go and 1 done. How, in heaven's name, does 1 person get so much laundry? I mean really.

I still need to clean the litter box and mop. Blech.

jesse, you know if you do not do laundry now, you will have to do it when it is either 8 billion degrees or rainy, right?

Nuh-uh! It's supposed to be OK tomorrow. Also, I still have a couple of hours to get motivated today.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Today's list:

    • teach level 1
    • teach level 3
    • go to gym
    • go for pie

I'm up to #3. I suppose I should shower so I can do #4 without scaring innocents.
