It cooled off here! For reals! It's only 68!
Maybe now I'll actually do laundry.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

It's 81 in my apartment. Which is nice--I slept with half a blanket on. I like sleeping with a blanket.
Yesterday was a wash after I got home. Moving made my head hurt so much that just sitting up to read had to be bailed on. I probably slept from whenever my last evening post here was until 10:30, when I transferred to my bed and tried sleeping some more. That was no fun.
Timelies all!
Quiet day here. Return some books to the library, do some laundry, watch the Stargates I taped...
It's already too hot.
A local theater company is doing Twelfth Night in a park just down the road, but it's at 1 pm. I think I'd die.
am up. have breakfasted and cleaned up kitchen in prep of cooking and baking. But first I am going to put in a couple loads of laundry and vaccuum the place.
It really is, Consuela. I have to go to work for an hourish, and it almost makes me happy, because they have AC there.
I also have to do as much laundry as I can stand to, go to Costco and TJs, and clean out the guest bedroom.
costco's and tj will be cool. I have a grocery store run for later in the day.
fans cool air in the direction of the sweaty people
Work is the plan for me today. Shock. Surprise. Maybe I'll watch some tv or go to a movie later.
I called an electrician friend to hook up my dryer. Normally I am comfortable installing outlets and such, but something is odd on this panel and it is above my level of comfort. To work on the water heater I had to turn off the breaker for both the water heater and the stove. Power was still going to the heater with only the one breaker off. That isn't right.
Also, I'm wearing a flannel shirt AIFG!
We're going to do some shopping at the mall and then to the movies and let someone else pay for the delicious delicious AC.
It is lovely here is Rochester-- I too am sendng cool air....
I am inordinately excited that both local grocery stores have what I consider the best frozen meals (Marie Callendar's) on sale 2 for $4.00. I used to bring in the lean cuisines and other cheaper ones for lunch but =, although I would love to lose weight, they were never enough for me. Of course they weren't, because they are 200 calories! Now I eat the bigger, better 400 calorie ones. Seriously, I can't imagine that getting a burger and chips is less than 400 calories, so I fgure I am doing better AND the frozen meals have veggies. I am busy calculating how many meals I can store in my freezer, because they are a real godsend during the theatre months.
