Everything looks good from here... Yes. Yes, this is a fertile land, and we will thrive. We will rule over all this land, and we will call it... 'This Land.' I think we should call it 'your grave!' Ah, curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal! Ha ha HA! Mine is an evil laugh! Now die! Oh, no, God! Oh, dear God in heaven!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Robin, that's a really excellent story.

And I just watched the Matt video. Rwanda looked kinda cool, in a enthusiastic kid sort of way.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

That is fantastic, Robin!

I sat across the aisle from John Kerry one time (in coach), but there was no interaction, and he wasn't that famous then.

Hex is not good. I watch it because I heard this season gets surreal. So far, not much more than last. It's easy to watch when I'm in a migraine daze. I need to have TV just for that.

Da Vinci's Inquest used to be that, but I just watched a two-parter that actually had me riveted (the one with the shooting of a police officer that turns out to be suicide not a shot from another officer as suspected). Which is totally cheating. It's supposed to be much more low key.

Robin, that's so funny! Your brother had a perfect response.

msbelle, I get really really really antsy towards the end of the day, and I'm pretty sure it is hunger (stupid body has a variety of hunger signals. One happens to have no other signs but crank, alas.) Try having a snack as soon as it starts.

Conked out for about 90 minutes this evening. Had bizarre dreams, as usual. As usual, forgotten all but they were bizarre 15 minutes after I woke up.

Finished up Love in the Driest Season. I'm gonna have puffy eyes tomorrow. It was an incredible mix of highly personal and a history of the acceleration-towards-disaster of Zimbabwe.

The fall the other day? Is making itself felt in places that were seemingly uninvolved.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I just watched Eureka and thought it was super cute. For everyone's FYI. I think now I need ice cream.

Now tagless for your comfort.

It's Friday night. The kids are asleep, DH is making a beer run (and bringing me back a lottery ticket). I'm eating an Oreos Klondike bar, reading the BRQG and laughing my ass off.

Life is pretty sweet.
