Willow: Something evil-crashed to earth in this. Then it broke out and slithered away to do badness. Giles: Well, in all fairness, we don't really know about the "slithered" part. Anya: No, no, I'm sure it frisked about like a fluffy lamb.

'Never Leave Me'

Natter 45: Smooth as Billy Dee Williams.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Yeah, but Vox is getting a marketing push now.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Ok. Google is still in beta...

No it's not. Not according to the front page, anyway. Google Blogsearch is, though. [link]

I think it's fair to say, if they say it hasn't launched yet, that it's new. I have no idea how long they've been talking about it or promoting it, but I only heard about Vox recently.

Bag the crypto. Say what is on your mind.

Yes, I am referring to perpetual beta ala GMail.

I am not up on on LJ things, too much, but I distinctly remember Vox and Six Apart being an article of note in early 2005.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

The Matt dancing video is SO AWESOME. It made my frustrating end to the day go away from my brain.

I am noticing a pattern that I get very frustrated at the end of workdays with things not being done. Now I need to figure out if I am doing it to myself, or if my boiss is waiting until the end of the day to question why things aren't done.

Frack all that. I'm watching Hex on BBCA and thinking "Dude! They killed Buffy!"

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

interesting. teh only confirmed public masturbation in our library was directed towards a woman ( law student). We suspect one internet porn looker/wanker - but we ended up shutting off his computer. and we did catch one person in violation of his parole ( sex offender on megan's list). so to begin my lecture:

The Public Library is a public place. Anyone may enter the public library. Anyone does. Please observe the rules of public saftey .( and don't leave your purse, laptop, or other valuables unattended) If you must leave your children in the library without adult supervision please do not expect the library staff to babysit them( no I will not make them do their homework or moderate any fights) , but do make sure they are willing to go to the staff for help in emergencies. thank you

bows

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I have all this stuff I want to talk to people at work about, but it's too late! I sent myself an email so I'll remember to do it on Monday. I was totally networking while out and about earlier.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

BTW, public masturbation was much more of a problem in malls.

What is even happening?

I got a Vox account within the past week or so. I haven't done anything with it, because I haven't had time to learn it, but it's there.
