We did a production of Really Rosy in elementary school, but we had a number from Pierre, and one from Where the Wild Things Are.
I can still remember the Pierre one, even though I never read the story.
There once was a boy named Pierre
Who only would say, "I don't care."
Read his story, my friend
And you'll find at the end
That a beautiful moral, lies there.
One day, his mother said
...
Okay, I'll stop. But I think that was 4th grade. I wonder what information I'm unable to retain, because those brain cells are already full.
I never had issues with total strangers watching me nurse. It was acquaintences that made ME uncomfortable. People I sort of knew, but not well, but that I would have to look in the eye again at some point. This, of course, was a total ME thing.
This is probably where I, as an observer, get uncomfortable. Strangers don't ping. Friends and relatives don't ping. It's acquaintances who ping. Isn't that funny?
